As a Senior Service Designer at colorfy you are responsible for the design of innovative services. This means designing functional and desirable digital services and products aligned with our client’s strategy and business objectives while developing a deep understanding of customer needs. As a senior designer, you will have your own client/project responsibilities and you’ll contribute to the overall organization by establishing a design-driven culture.

Colorfy is a data and insights-driven innovation company. We develop aesthetically and functional transformative products for larger clients from different sectors. The role will be primarily focused on a major German client from the FMCG segment.

We expect you to be familiar with gathering and utilizing business and customer insights, to be able to identify opportunities, define strategies and create concepts. You will lead the development of innovative new services from the initial brief all the way to delivery.

You combine design, business, and technology viewpoints, and master customer listening. You are familiar with leading user research, mapping user experiences and customer journeys as well as leading co-creation workshops, idea generation, and prototyping.

You should possess a natural ability to articulate the concepts of good service design to develop our client’s perspective on the topic. Your background can vary from design or business.

You can

  • Understand the service-related problems/challenges of client’s and end-users
  • Support & Lead sales of service design related projects
  • Solve problems with natural innovative and analytical skills
  • Work with customers, business stakeholders, and staff to develop customer and business-centric concepts
  • Produce a range of service design deliverables for different touchpoints
  • Run creative workshops
  • Work directly with clients on an individual level
  • Communicate the fundamental concepts of service design to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other team members in the project.

You have

  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience as a senior service designer for digital services
  • Experience with service design tools and methods
  • Experience in working on a broad range of research and innovation-oriented projects
  • Fluency in English, conversational in German
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Creative and strategic thinking capability
  • Experience in working with creative people and environments
  • Experience with high-level customer engagement
  • Willingness to travel - mobility/travel within Germany is expected
  • Eagerness to mentor and elevate other creative people into service design thinking
